2025 Cornhole Tournament

Looking for some good family fun? Join us at our annual Cornhole Tournament. Proceeds all come back to the community.
WE SERVE! Help us continue to help others. 💛🦁💙

Cubs and Senior Connect

The Cubs put a big smile on the Senior Connect Group on Tuesday! They received lots of compliments and asked them to come back some other time. Cubs participated in exercises with the group and played games. Serving our senior citizens is such a gift to the community and these young people will undoubtedly continue to serve in years to come. We also thank Lion Julie Estes for her fine leadership of the Cub Club.

Delivering Beds

Lions Amy Fowler, Joseph Russell, George Zuo and Robert Parker made a dynamic team as they delivered five beds November 23rd. This endeavor will undoubtedly be one of the most impactful projects we have taken on. Very grateful to all of our Lions who participate in this project and others doing service for our community

Salvation Bell Ringers

Kaufman Lions answered the call to ring the Salvation Army’s bell to help those in need in our community this holiday season. Lions Julie and Jim Woods started early this Friday morning. Lion Chris Freberia and family took the next shift. Lion Steve Taylor and his granddaughter Cub Emmaline Taylor made a great team and were joined by Mrs. Angie Taylor. Lion Hank Gaines took the last shift documented. I believe there were more and will give an updated report. Please stop and say hi when you pass by and help out if you possibly can. Every dollar counts!

Building a Better Future

Several elves (AKA Lions and a Leo) were completing a special assignment. Lions Jerry Parker, George Zuo, Joseph Russell, Amy Fowler and Leo Cayden Fowler helped to build beds at the Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed building event in Crowley this morning. These beds were brought back to Kaufman to be provided to children ages 3-17 in Kaufman who do not have beds of their own. In spite of the chilly weather, they completed the tasks at hand with big smiles on their faces. We thank these devoted Lions for their service

You are looking at 20 beds that just arrived in Kaufman. They will be on hand until the next call comes for a child or children with no bed of their own to lay their head down to sleep each night. It is such a privilege to help those children from our very own storage. Sleep in Heavenly Peace in coordination with Build A Bed has designated 75142 as the latest zip code service area. The Kaufman Lions Club proudly provides the manpower to deliver and assemble the beds, complete…The Kaufman Lions Club proudly provides the manpower to deliver and assemble the beds, complete with bedding, to waiting children.  Such a bright spot in our day to see their faces!

Annual Pancake Breakfast coming up soon

Come see us and have some great pancakes.

Kaufman Lions Serve

We had more than one amazing team of Lions this past Saturday supplying new beds to kids who need their own spot to lay their head each night. This Build A Bed team included Lions Joshua Garcia, Jim Woods, Julie Woods and Jerry Parker. As mentioned before, these beds, twin and bunk style, are constructed by Sleep In Heavenly Peace and built by volunteers. Often these volunteers are Lions. From there they are distributed and delivered to those in need. Construction is completed on site and bedding is added, as well.
We are so pleased to bring this wonderful service to our community. WE SERVE and we bring smiles to those in need.

Joseph had a great morning with fellow Lion Jerry Parker and Curtis Green taking part with others for Sleep In Heavenly Peace. A nonprofit that builds and delivers beds to children without one. Kaufman Lions are hoping to get it started for our area code.

So proud of these Lions as they deliver beds right here in Kaufman for children who don’t have a bed of their own! Lions Joseph Russell, Amy Fowler, Becky Barber and Jordan McFarlin spent a few hours of their Saturday to brighten the lives of some young people in need. The beds include complete bedding and are either twin or bunks. The smile on the faces of the recipients is worth every second spent. Just another way WE SERVE our community.
