The Kaufman Lions Club Gun Raffle began out of necessity. During COVID, we lost two of our main sources of revenue, the pancake breakfast and the baseball concession stand. We had to find a solution that didn’t require physical contact. The board agreed and the wheels were set in motion with Lion Carma Sullivan as chair.

Extreme care was taken to run the raffle with total integrity and making sure to follow all of the regulations to a tee. We partnered originally with Wiley’s Gun Store and continued for 4 raffles. Our 2025 raffle was spent partnered locally with Caleb Day at Cordell Farm and Ranch store and plan to continue for the convenience and the hometown touch. We are grateful for their participation and watchful care of our winners. We look forward to great participation and happy winners.

2026 marks our 6th gun raffle! We have now sold over $102,000 and have given away approximately $75,000 to well deserving non-profits, individuals and organizations. Final drawing will be in person on July 10th during our weekly meeting!
