07/17 – Meeting Recap

We were honored to have a very special speaker. Lion Julie Woods introduced Dispatch Lieutenant, Heather Hall with the Kaufman County Sherriff’s Office. She leads operations within a regional communications center that dispatches law enforcement, fire, and emergency services for multiple agencies across Kaufman County. Lt. Hall is committed to strengthening coordination between dispatch and field responders, improving operational systems, and developing policies that support efficient emergency response and officer safety. With 25 years of experience under her belt, Lt. Hall is passionate about educating the public on the vital role 911 professionals play as the first first responders, increasing awareness of the critical work performed behind the scenes during every emergency. THEY SERVE.

 

07/10 – Meeting Recap

Lion President Jeff Lane took the helm. We are excited to see where the KLC will be at this time next year as we strive to serve others as Lions. We were also excited to meet the new dream team of the soon to open Lowe’s Home Improvement store. Store manager Zach Perwarchik updated us on the one-of-a-kind Lowe’s being built and their desire to be a great asset to the Kaufman Community. Accompanying Zach were Meghan Sonasky, Pro Department Supervisor, and Meg Lopez, Operations Assistant Store Manager. We’re looking forward to their grand opening on August 7th at 9 am.
